Holmes Trophy

101 gents took part in the Holmes Trophy on Sunday. The conditions were difficult but it didn’t stop some excellent scoring and, in one case, a day to be long remembered.

The overall winner was Dave Pratt who had a 74-7=67. Not only did Dave win the competition, he also had a hole-in-one at the 15th and picked up £1,021 in the Hole-in-One sweep.

Congratulations to Dave and all the prize winners. Dave can be seen in the photo with our Centenary Captain, Steve Trainer.

Barrow Golf Club is a jewel set amidst the splendour of the Lake District and the beauty of the Furness Peninsula.
