Golf Sixes

The Juniors were in action again this weekend in the golf sixes league.  The match was played at Dunnerholme Golf Club in testing conditions, with heavy rain at times.  Despite this there were great scores from all 6 teams.

Result from Dunnerholme (Texas Scramble)

Barrow Navy 125 points

Dunnerholme Green 117

Barrow Blue 111

Dunnerholme Orange111

Ulverston Black 110

Ulverston Red 110

Barrow Navy team now head the league table with 16 points, with Dunnerholme Green in second with 14 points with 3 matches to play.

Interesting rule of golf sixes: hole the ball in 3 to score 8 points!
